Ingredients
For the paste
- 6 tbsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp ginger powder
- 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1/8 tsp ground cardamon
- 1/6 tsp ground cloves
- 1 c filtered water
Golden Milk
- 2 tbsp turmeric golden milk paste
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- a few drops of Udo’s oil
Instructions
For the paste
- In a small saucepan, thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
- On low heat, make a paste, stirring continuously for about 8 mins
- Remove from heat and cool. Store in a glass container in the fridge. The paste will last in the fridge for 2 to 3 weeks.
Golden Milk
- In a small saucepan, combine the turmeric golden milk paste with coconut milk and honey. Whisk to incorporate ingredients and eliminate lumps. Warm to the desired temperature on medium-low heat; do not boil.
- Pour 8 ounces into mugs. Top with a few drops of Udo’s oil.
