It’s time to talk toxins.

Toxins are a very complicated subject that can easily overwhelm you. But it’s crucial you understand where you are overloading your body with toxins and what you can do about it.

Exposure to toxins can cause you to gain weight, can turn a healthy cell into a cancer cell, and can effect your moods leading to depression and anxiety.

On March 10th I will be doing a workshop in my office to help you understand how you can minimize your toxic load. Until then, stay tuned to my emails for the next several weeks as I teach what to look for in your beauty products, foods, and household cleaners.

Today I want to give you a basic understanding of where you are getting these toxins.

1. Your food – If you are not reading labels, you need to be. Just because it is allowed in a food product doesn’t mean it’s safe for you. The challenge is that many people don’t know what the words on the label mean. I will be going over the most toxic ingredients over the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

2. Your beauty products – What you put on your skin and hair matters. Many beauty products contain endocrine disruptors that are linked to breast cancer. These disruptors also can cause depression and weight gain. There are two helpful apps that will help you tell how toxic your beauty products are; Skin Deep App and Think Dirty. Check them out and rate your products.

3. Your household products – This is probably one of the greatest sources of toxins you are exposed to. Dishwashing soaps, laundry detergents, and cleaners will have a damaging effect on your health. The Environmental Working Group has done a great job to help us understand this complicated subject. Here is a link to there website:

As many of you know, I take a multipronged approach to health. It’s not just one thing that destroys or rebuilds your health. There are several things in your environment that will break it down. Toxins is a big one and probbably the most misunderstood.

Be sure to follow me on social media as I am always posting information about different food and beauty products that are great for your health.

Look at your environment today and see what toxins you can start pulling out. It’s a process that can take months to accomplish. Be patient.

Hope that helps. Have an amazing day!
