When people go to medical school, they learn all about how the body works. At their residency, doctors are told to do things a certain way. Doctors do not stop to question things until it happens to them or a loved one. Dr. Kyrin knew something was wrong with her body – she was obese, her hair was falling out, and she looked twenty years older than she was. When Dr. Kyrin discovered functional medicine, she realized that loads of things she learned in medical school were wrong.

After going through menopause, your period has stopped forever. Therefore, you are always in menopause.
