I love the book. It gave me actionable advice and helped me understand how to start my journey back to better health. I lost 30lbs in 60 days and have been maintaining it now for another 60 days. I recently (during the fast) had to pass a kidney stone and now my doctor tells me that the very foods that have given me back my metabolism and health are too high in oxalate and could contribute to future kidney stones. I can’t win.

Bob, we are so happy to hear that you found the information in our book useful and that you lost a significant amount of weight! My approach to health is always that there are many breakdowns that can occur to cause your health to go off track. The 45 day reset is a great starting point for lowering inflammation, stabilizing your blood sugar, and repairing your gut. The health you created on the 45 day reset, most likely allowed your kidneys to release those toxins. I would tell you that a very simple step would be to only consume a moderate amount of protein, especially nut butters. It is really common that when people lower their carbs, they go high protein, so just be sure that you are not over doing the protein as well. I do have a Facebook group where we discuss principles such as this. If you would like to join in, type in “Resetters” into the search menu, and request to join. Stay on track and don’t give up! We are here to support you
