Dietary Guidelines: Follow a strict, low-carb, high fat diet. Avoid all breads, fruit, sugar, and alcohol.
How long will this take? This protocol can be taken anywhere from 1-6 months continuous. If after 6 months your hormones are not balancing, there is a deeper issue such as heavy metals, gut imbalances, or nutrition deficiencies.
What to Expect? Most women report back to us that their hormonal swings in a four week period are significantly decreased while on the hormone reset protocol. We have also seen patients experience decreased hot flashes, increase in libido, and experiencing a better night sleep. Food cravings and weight- loss resistance can also shift.
What do I do after the protocol? Once your hormones are balanced, you can use this reset protocol on an as-need-basis. Many of our female patients notice that their hormones will shift out of balance during times of extreme stress or when they have fallen off their healthy living strategies and will hop back on to the protocol to re-balance. As mentioned above, if you have been consistently taking the protocol for six months, and there are no improvements, there is probably a deeper issue.
