INGREDIENTS:
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/2 cup sauerkraut (best option is high-quality kraut from the refrigerated section)
- 2 tbsp feta cheese (goat, sheep or raw dairy preferred)
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, smash avocado until desired texture is achieved.
- Stir in sauerkraut until well mixed.
- Sprinkle feta cheese, if using, on top or mix in.
- Enjoy alone or as a spread or dip for veggies.
This sounded disgusting to me and it’s DELICIOUS. I’m finding it very amusing that often the recipes I’m most resistant to in FLaG are my favorites! :)
Diane, thank you for posting that!!! I would NEVER have tried this, because like you, I thought it sounded absolutely gross!! You are 100% correct, it’s freaking AMAZING!!! I can’t wait to have it again tomorrow!
Did you have it as a bowl or as a dip?
Indeed delicious in an unexpected way. I don’t understand the serving size. I’m so full after eating half of it by itself. Is there the correct portion to eat the entire recipe at once?
