If I told you that there was a pill that would improve your brain power and memory capacity, would you take it?

Most likely yes, right?

While there isn’t a pill that does this, there is protein that will do it. And this protein lives inside your body.

It’s called BDNF.

And it acts like growth hormone for your brain.

Improves memory.
Increases mental sharpness & clarity.
Prevents dementia.

Sounds pretty good don’t you think?

Well if you want a surge of BDNF you’re going to have to work for it.

There are 5 ways to increase your BDNF levels:

1.Intermittent Fasting

Slows aging, kicks you out of weight loss resistance, and helps you build muscle. If you are not intermittent fasting, I highly recommend it.

Everyday you go 13-15 hours without food. I tell my patients stop eating at 8pm & don’t eat again until after 11am. Basically you are skipping breakfast.

2.Eat More Good Fats

You want to elevate your DHA levels in order to get more BDNF. Here are my favorite foods to eat to make that happen:

  • Mackerel
  • Salmon
  • Cod Liver Oil
  • Walnuts
  • Chia Seeds
  • Herring
  • Salmon (wild-caught)
  • Flaxseeds
  • Tuna
  • White Fish
  • Sardines
  • Hemp Seeds
  •  Anchovies
  • Natto
  • Egg Yolks

3.Intense Aerobic Exercise

Twenty minutes of intense exercise is all it takes to get a surge of BDNF. But know that you need to make those twenty minutes intense. The more strenuous the exercise, the more BDNF that will get secreted.

4.Supplementation

Research is showing that high levels of Turmeric have been proven to increase BDNF. I also recommend a new class of brain supplements that have appeared called nootropics.

The nootropic I recommend to my patients is called Neurosyn. Neurosyn is formulated to support healthy brain aging, cognition, and memory.

Remember it’s always a multi-therapeutic approach that brings your health back & prevents disease.

No magic bullets.

Try the above strategies out, and see how your brain power improves.

Hope that helps! Have an awesome day.
